She went on to earn a master of arts in applied clinical psychology from Penn State Erie. Since then she has worked as a therapist in outpatient settings with clients ages 5 – 80 of diverse backgrounds and varying severity of mental illness. Ebonie R. Slade, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional and researcher based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her Master of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology from the Community College of Allegheny County.

Her work includes contributions to The Pittsburgh Study and research on harm reduction approaches to support Black fathers and families. Slade’s passion lies in addressing health disparities, improving community outcomes, and ensuring operational efficiency in healthcare programs.

Rebecca McCallister is a PSUGA alumni who graduated in 2022 with a strong involvement in the campus’s THON committee as the president as well as being a member in the National Honor Society in Psychology. My experience includes supporting mental health professionals and clients through effective scheduling systems, ensuring seamless coordination of care and efficient clinic operations. I have consistently demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems under pressure, manage time-sensitive tasks, and communicate clearly with diverse teams and individuals. After interning with Wesley Family Services, I was employed there for 3 years connecting with clients on what services fit them best while also assisting in providing on-site crisis intervention services. During my time, I was nominated for The Whole Person Care Award which highlighted my efforts to ensure clients had the utmost support in their mental health. Currently, I am employed with Achieving True Self where I connect with families daily to help secure the staffing they need for autism support services. I have received the Mission Warrior Award twice which highlights my dedication to our mission, vision,  and values.
