Moha Desai is a Field Engineer Trainee at Welltec, a leading provider of robotic intervention services and completion products & solutions to the oil and gas industry since November 2023. Prior to that she served in AmeriCorps as a Maker Fellow, working at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania for one year to develop and enhance their STEM curriculum. She has a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering with minor in Environmental Engineering. She obtained her degree taking advantage of Penn State’s 2 + 1 + 1 Plan in Energy Engineering, completing the freshman and sophomore years at Penn State’s Behrend campus, and the junior year at Greater Allegheny campus before transitioning into the senior year at the University Park campus. Moha is the STEM Outreach for Schools coordinator at the Society of Women Engineers’ Pittsburgh section.

 

Sidney Przybylski participated in the 3 + 1 program at Penn State Greater Allegheny and graduated with an Engineering degree on the Alternative Energy and Power Generation track. She is currently working as an Electrical Engineer in training at Heidelberg Materials in Nazareth, PA. She encourages all students, especially women in stem, to be the change you want to see in the world.

 

Neila Raveen is a Clinical Research Assistant and Recruiter at the Center for Family Planning Research at Magee Women’s Hospital where she works in innovative contraceptive trials. She graduated from Penn State Greater Allegheny with a B.S in Biobehavioral Health in 2023. Neila’s journey in clinical research commenced as an intern, gaining valuable experience in Neurology at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine as well as in Women’s Health and in Oncology at Allegheny Health Network Research Institute. These roles involved patient interaction, neuropsychological testing, and direct involvement in clinical trials, laying a solid foundation for her current role. A prolific participant in academic conferences, Neila has presented on various topics ranging from Black Maternal Health outcomes to, most recently, genetic markers found in ALS and Muscular Dystrophy patients at the International Symposium on ALS/MND this December. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including the Associate for Clinical and Translational Science Burroughs Wellcome Fund Trainee Travel Award and multiple undergraduate research awards at Penn State University.  Neila is eager and always available to mentor undergraduate students aspiring to enter the same field.


Brittany Lesko earned a B.A. in Psychology at Penn State Greater Allegheny along with a certificate in Africana Studies. During college, she was extremely involved in clubs, organizations, and various committees on campus while working as a Resident Assistant. She even received the Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award, which is awarded to a student who provides leadership and enhances the reputation of the University through extracurricular activities. Brittany was also a research assistant coder for Dr. Mazur, Psychology department Program Coordinator, for her research on the online dating experience of adults with disabilities.

Currently Brittany is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education and a certificate in Institutional Research through Penn State University which she will complete in May 2024. Besides her educational efforts she is highly involved within the Penn State Alumni Association. She is a board member of the Penn State Greater Allegheny Alumni Society, a board member of the Penn State Alumni Association Greater Pittsburgh Chapter where she serves as the chair for the young alumni committee, and on the committee for the Blue White Ball which is a THON alumni group that raises money for the Four Diamonds Foundation.
